Rennie needed a complete digital rebuild that matched the seriousness of its work — without throwing away the brand equity it already held. BFJ Digital delivered a full redesign and rebuild on WordPress: 230+ pages, 10 templates, 35 custom modules, a featured case study system, and live weather and LinkedIn integrations, with every existing insight, blog, and case study migrated across.

The Challenge

  • Uplift the brand without redesigning it. The brief wasn't a rebuild from scratch — it was to sharpen the existing identity's connection to Rennie's values: transition, sustainability, and impact. Every decision had to read as evolution, not departure. A more nuanced challenge than a full rebrand.
  • Complex information architecture. Four expertise areas with 12 underlying services, six distinct sectors, an insights library, plus careers and team content. Surfacing all of it without overwhelming visitors meant careful calls on hierarchy, mega-menu structure, and cross-linking.
  • Migrate a live content library. Rennie's existing insights, blogs, and case studies were a genuine asset. Migration had to preserve every article, hold SEO equity, and re-categorise content under the new taxonomy with nothing lost.

Rennie needed a platform that lifted the brand, organised a complex offering, and brought their entire content history with them — ready from day one.
