Revenue Reality Audit
What does a lead really cost you?
In 30 minutes we read your own accounts and show you the number: cost per lead by channel, where spend is leaking, and what to change first. No deck. No pitch.
Read-only access to Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics 4, Google Business Profile, Search Console and your CRM. BFJ Labs does the reading. A specialist does the explaining. You keep the report whatever you decide.
- Google Search
- $74 per lead, 38 leads a month
- Performance Max
- $212 per lead, counting page views as leads
- Meta
- $41 per lead, 19 leads, none tracked back to a sale
- Phone calls
- Not tracked. About a third of enquiries, invisible
- Leak
- $1,900 a month on search terms nobody meant to buy
- Fix first
- Track calls, fix the conversion actions, then rebid
What you get
Four things, all of them numbers.
Cost per lead by channel
What a lead actually costs you on Google Search, Performance Max, Meta and organic, including phone calls if they’re tracked. One number per channel, not six reports.
The leaks, in dollars a month
Search terms nobody meant to pay for. Conversions that aren’t leads. Calls that aren’t counted. Budget on campaigns that never convert. Each one with a dollar figure next to it.
Where you sit
Your cost per click and cost per lead against the Australian median from Labs, so you know whether it’s your industry, your account, or both. See the benchmarks.
Three fixes, in order
What we’d change first, second and third, and roughly what each is worth. You can do them yourself, hand them to your agency, or ask us. The report is yours either way.
How it works
Five minutes of yours. Then thirty.
Connect, read-only
You accept access requests from Google, Meta and your analytics. No passwords. We can see, not change, and you can revoke it in one click.
Labs reads 90 days
Spend, clicks, calls, enquiries and sales, matched to the same month and the same campaign. The things that don’t add up show themselves.
The 30-minute call
A specialist walks you through the numbers on screen: cost per lead, the leaks, where you sit against the median, and the three fixes.
You keep the report
If you want us to fix the leaks, we quote that separately. If you don’t, you still have a number nobody’s given you before.
Who it’s for
Businesses that spend real money and aren’t sure the number is right.
- You spend $5,000 a month or more across Google and Meta, or you’re about to.
- You have an agency or an in-house person and you’ve never seen cost per lead by channel in one place.
- Leads come in by phone as well as forms, and you suspect half of them are invisible.
- The board asks what marketing is worth and the answer is a traffic graph.
What it isn’t
- A sales deck with an audit stapled to the front.
- A generic checklist. Every number comes from your accounts.
- A teardown of your agency. We read the accounts, not the relationship, and plenty of people take the report straight to their agency.

Questions people ask
Before you book.
Do you need my passwords?
No. You accept manager access requests from Google Ads, Meta and Google Analytics, the same way you’d give an accountant read access to Xero. We can see the accounts, not change them, and you can remove the access in one click when you like.
Is it really free?
Yes. Some audits turn into clients, which is why we do it. Most just leave with a number they didn’t have. There’s no follow-up sequence and no pressure on the call.
We already have an agency. Is this awkward?
It shouldn’t be. The audit reads the accounts, not the relationship. A good agency will welcome the numbers; plenty of people take the report straight to theirs and ask for the three fixes.
What do you need from me?
Access, which takes five minutes, and 30 minutes on a call. If you know what a customer is worth to you, bring that too: it turns cost per lead into cost per customer.
What if calls aren’t tracked?
Then that’s usually the first fix, and the audit will say so. We’ll show you how much of your enquiry volume is invisible and what tracking it would cost.
What happens after the call?
You keep the report. If you want us to fix the leaks or run the account, we quote that separately and you decide. If you want the full picture across every channel, the Digital Marketing and CX Audit is the next step.
